The staff member was extremely friendly, and since the restaurant was empty, she made a point to check on us frequently. She had a great sense of humor and even assisted my friend with her chopsticks.
I went to this restaurant to celebrate my brother's birthday, and we were the only customers in the place. It took over 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our presence. When we finally received our drinks, they were served in cans. I ordered the $13 ramen, which had almost no description on the menu. While waiting for our food, I heard the microwave beep several times. Eventually, I was served what was clearly instant ramen, topped with carrots and shrimp that still had their tails on. I'm not sure about the sushi, but if you're looking for a good noodle dish, I recommend going anywhere else.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in Spokane. If you’re a fan of Korean cuisine and other East Asian dishes, this is the spot for you. The flavors are exceptional, and the textures are perfect. I can't rate it highly enough! Don’t overlook this place—you’ll definitely see me back here. Thank you!
I quite like how empty the place usually is, never had more than two other tables seated every time I’ve been here. It’s a nice quiet atmosphere to sit and enjoy your food with your friends or loved ones. The staff is very kind and catering, and the food is great. I always get a chef’s choice of sushi/sashimi, the green tea, and a Japanese cheesecake! When you ask for soda they give you a cup with ice and a can, so it’s good to know you’re getting fresh and not flat soda every time, and you’re not limited to choosing from one brand! It’s still a bit of a letdown that the belt has not been up and running since COVID, but I’m also a little glad because that keeps the place a bit quieter and more of a secret local spot to wow your friends with! The prices are cheap compared to other sushi shops in the area, so I totally recommend it! Parking: The little strip area the location is connected to always has tons of free parking if there isn’t any spots left right in front of the store (which there usually is).
Overall I really liked this place. It was a little off putting that it was completely empty but it was great service and a cute little place! It took a little bit for our food but so worth it! I got the caterpillar roll and lion king roll and both were delicious, some of the best rolls I’ve had in a while. My friend got the yakisoba and a veggie roll and she enjoyed both. It definitely looked like it used to be more popular but still deserves some love! I don’t understand how it wasn’t busy when I went in!! Would highly recommend!
