Hunt was very funny and the ambience was great. Food and drink well, but it doesn't matter. The best was the service, the unattended pace and the ability to have a long, fun dinner with old friends. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hunt Spokane:
The service was very slow, although the restaurant was not very busy. It took almost 15 minutes to order each water and another 10. The food came out and two of our six orders were never set up. When the foods arrived, it was not good or as shown in the pictures on the website. We ordered the mushroom strawberry, instead got a strange fetters with a really thick parmesan sauce and mushrooms. Everything was extremely... View all feedback.
We ordered beef stroganoff, but the server brought us braised beef instead. While the meat was tender, it didn't have much flavor. When we pointed out the mistake, the server simply said, "Well, this is braised beef," so we decided to eat it anyway. We were dining with another couple, and when it came time to pay, she brought us a single bill. We requested to split it by couple, but she just divided the total evenly, regardless of what each couple had ordered. On a positive note, my non-alcoholic Shirley Temple was delicious!
Jay, the bartender, makes the atmosphere warm and friendly; he expertly juggles drinks, food, recommendations, and engaging conversation while efficiently managing his immaculate bar without any sign of stress. The culinary creations from Chef Peter are exceptional, with nearly everything being made from scratch on-site. The highlights for me were the roasted mushrooms with herbs paired with fresh focaccia, and the chorizo served with feta and pickled vegetables. I will definitely be returning to this place every time I'm in Spokane!
I love this place with my entire heart. I look forward to getting to go during the times I visit Spokane, it's one of the cocktail and dining highlights of the city. I regrettably do not have photos of my food or drink, but if it helps, that's because I ate all of it, and everything except the exceptional food in front of me left my brain, so don't let the lack of photo concern you, its both aesthetically and flavorfully beautiful. They also have some private spaces to reserve for events and meetings, which give great privacy but aren't restrictive or tiny. Seriously wonderful gem in Spokane.
I've been here a few times now and the staff is always wonderful, the food is amazing and the cocktails are absolutely delicious. The inviting atmosphere and friendly staff make this one of my favorite places to hang out!
Cozy location and great atmosphere, friendly staff, and overall a lovely evening. Rue recommended the High as a Kite when I couldn't decide on a drink and it was PERFECT. The smoked chickpea curry was a warm and comforting meal on a cold day. Looking forward to coming back!
