You must visit this restaurant as soon as possible. The happy hour and impressive drinks menu are just two reasons why. The food was delicious - especially the Tater Tot casserole.
I don't even know where to begin with this restaurant. The ambiance is fantastic, with a quiet atmosphere and perfect lighting - not too dim, not too bright. The servers are friendly and attentive.

The Gilded Unicorn is just as enchanting as it sounds. After enjoying The Nutcracker and admiring the Davenport Christmas trees, my mother, two nieces, and I made our way to The Gilded Unicorn for dinner. It was the perfect end to our special evening. We started with drinks (creamsicles for the girls, cocktails for the ladies) and decided to sample some appetizers. We began with the "Devil on Arms" (bacon-wrapped prawns filled with roasted almonds), "Bocce Rolls" (garlic confit and mozzarella stuffed rolls), and the charcuterie platter. All of them were excellent! We also shared the Unicorn mac 'n' cheese, which was the best I've ever had. When our dessert arrived, we decided on the lemon curd, which was underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal, but the double chocolate was delicious. Overall, the entire experience was fantastic. Our waiter was attentive, taking care of all our needs without hovering. Five stars!
This restaurant is very unique and unusual, in a good way. It is located underground, with walls made of brick or stone adorned with many strange yet fun paintings. Even before trying the appetizers, we were impressed by the amazing aromas and presentations. The waitress was very helpful in guiding us through the creative menu, which included a variety of drink options. When we were ready to leave, the check was promptly brought to us, but we never felt rushed. Overall, this hidden gem has become one of my favorite spots and is a must-visit.
