Caffe Affogato - Spokane
Caffe Affogato
Description
Tucked into Saranac Commons on Main Street, this cozy, design-forward coffee shop pairs Italian-style espresso craftsmanship with warm, community-focused service. Skilled baristas handcraft elevated drinks—affogatos and single-origin pours shine—within an airy shared space ideal for studying, meeting friends, or exploring nearby boutiques. Thoughtful decor (a stone counter evoking the Spokane River), air conditioning, and a welcoming atmosphere complement outreach to the homeless. Convenient downtown location with paid parking and a relaxed, rarely crowded vibe make it a local favorite.

When it comes to coffee, Spokane has plenty of excellent coffee shops. This is one of my favorites due to its high-quality brews, friendly baristas, great location in a shared community space, and commitment to serving the homeless in the area. In the summer, I especially enjoy their coffee with ice cream. While I wait for my drink, I like to explore the other businesses within the building.
This is a fantastic local coffee shop situated in Saranac Commons. It offers a distinct Italian twist on coffee that sets it apart. The air conditioning makes it a comfortable spot to escape the summer heat. It's not usually very busy, making it an ideal place to study or finally finish that novel you've been working on for two years. Located on Main Street, there are several parking options available, although you will need to pay for parking if you choose to drive. Coffee enthusiasts will especially enjoy the expertly crafted drinks made by skilled baristas. Overall, the quality of the beverages here is noticeably higher than at other local coffee shops in the area.
This cozy coffee shop located in the heart of downtown offers a delightful atmosphere and warm, friendly service. Its shared space with several other businesses adds a fun twist—perfect for picking up a coffee and exploring the area. I give it 5 stars for its aesthetically pleasing interior design, featuring a stunning stone counter adorned with a line of coffee beans representing the Spokane River. However, I rate the coffee 3 stars, as it unfortunately didn't stand out.
My favorite coffee shop in Spokane. I reccomend ordering off the menu they keep at the counter. All the drinks are made with care and craftsmanship. Highly reccomended! Great place to come with friends- open area with other businesses (love the atmosphere), cozy and inviting.
I love this place! I make a point to come here on every work trip. I don’t mind waiting for a coffee when it is actually hand crafted! The cafe darte isn’t my favorite roaster but the time they take in actually making the espresso with quality ingredients turns out a great latte!
