Great service. We had someone with intolerance in the group and the cook even came out to make sure everything was okay. The food was really good and the waiter was super friendly. Totally recommended. Also the price for the amount of food was really fair.

Had a wonderful risotto here and the personal was about to know gluten-free! good value for eating and also very nice to have live music during dinner.

We found this place quite randomly and happy for us when it was a fabulous evening. The staff could not do enough for us and give us the perfect table under the stars. The food is beautiful, prepared with pride and attention to detail. Each course was more delicious and the Croatian wines were a revelation. The turn with the shells was a pleasure, the pig was shy like the pasta and calf. We enjoyed the food, wine, the atmosphere and the staff so much we went twice during our 8 days in Split. Very recommended and will of course be back.

Mega place to eat and drink! Just stumbled across this, started with a cocktail in the tiny bar while we waited for a table, then sat in the restaurant listening to the live music. The food was amazing, so different to anything else I’ve had in Croatia. I think the Tuna starter is a real showcase dish, definitely worth trying! The monkfish was just perfect and the portion size were just right. Great wine great atmosphere great night!

Thank you Mazzgoon from a grateful vegetarian! So good we ate there twice in 2 days. I struggled to find vegetarian options in Croatia at first (other than side salads or simple pasta so Mazzgoon was a hidden gem for me! We walked past once or twice, seeing the 3 tables on the tiny side street, not realising there was a beautiful courtyard at the back. I'm so glad the friendly lady at the front chatted to us and showed me the menu options otherwise I may never have discovered Mazzgoon. I had a delicious raw noodle pad Thai that was surprisingly filling, full of sticky peanut and sesame flavours, and I returned the next day to try the seaweed, asparagus and goat cheese salad which had lovely Japanese flavours running through it. My husband had a fantastic smoky risotto that he absolutely loved. The homemade breads were incredible, so soft and perfect with the lovely Croatian olive oil. The staff were really helpful guiding me to wines that I might like (and I did their wines were all really great!
