The restaurant was bustling and the waitstaff was attentive, providing relatively quick service. I ordered the falafel pita with hummus and tahini. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, but I found the falafel and hummus to be lacking in Middle Eastern spices like cumin.
There is a sticker on the window that says "Daddy cool," but the restaurant is actually named "Sexy Cow" and offers mainly meat dishes on the menu. I would not recommend this restaurant because it has an open cooking station near the seating area, allowing guests to see and smell the food being prepared.
I've eaten alot of falafels over the years and these were up at the top. Huge wraps filled with salad and whatever sauces you want for 8 euros. We also got the fries which were lovely skin on fries. Like others have mentioned you need to ask for the falafel menu (not sure why they don't advertise them more clearly as they are so good). The pictures don't do the wraps justice they were huge and we left stuffed!
Highly recommend visiting Sexy Cow and asking for Daddy Cool to try the menu with falafel. The price of 8 euros for a falafel pita was worth it, as it was incredibly filling and delicious.
I had the veggie wrap and the staff even pointed out to me that the guacamole wasn't vegan and helped me with alternatives without me having to mention I was vegan. The portion sizes are quite generous, and the veggies are really fresh nicely grilled. Really good option if you're with non-vegans and a bit tired of the usual pasta with veggies you usually get around Split.
