This small hotel is a nice hotel. I was here a few years ago and I was happy to go back. It is located along a quiet street just a few minutes walk from downtown areas, shops, cathedral and river. Speyer is a very beautiful city to see a lot. Parking is sometimes a little tight. The staff is friendly, the rooms are excellent. The breakfast buffet is well equipped.
Was a nice combination of business plus boutique and really warm, personalized service. The hotel was small but had all the required business amenities. It was impeccably clean and had a trendy/modern feel. Loads of parking, easy to get to by car. About a 10 minute walk to Maximillian Strauss. Speyer is such a lovely little town. I could spend many hours at a cafe patio on the old main street watching the world go by!
The suites are good for a stay with the children. The “living room” with kitchenette, sofa bed and armchairs is large enough to play indoors on a rainy day. The kitchenette has bar-fridge, microwave, two small hobs, electric kettle, coffee machine. Missing: toaster. Enough pots and pans for easy meals. Rooms are clean and easily filled. It is great that there is a door to the bedroom with some sound insulation special when your family on different cycles of jet lag. Bed and sofa bed are comfortable Only disadvantages: fairly loud street when you get a suite (128? or rooms to the yard You probably have a better noise protection there is a dining table, but you need to sit on couch, armrests/book for a proper meal interior of the hotel is quite old to get to the suites you need to master a staircase has not had dinner here yet, as the menu does not seem attractive
Good menu with a wide selection of local and international dishes. Food is well prepared and good portion sizes. Not too badly paid.
