Ristorante la perla a pearl at least in the ludwigshafener city part oggersheim. the manageable Italian restaurant is stylishly furnished and even offers a terrace in the summer months. the restaurant is a small family run and the service was very friendly and accommodating. next to a map for Italian restaurants there are new dishes and offers weekly, from fishing to meat to homemade pasta. these dishes are ingenious and adapt to seasonal events. before each main course you get a small amuse bein, a nice greeting from the kitchen. the foods are very in order from the price-quality ratio, eat well and it is definitely worth a visit.

This was my first time eating there with my family. Overall, everyone was satisfied. We'd gladly come again.
The Italian restaurant La Perla, once one of our favorite restaurants on the other side of the Rhine—oh, how we had wonderful visits. I fondly remember the once excellent Bolognese schnitzel, the spaghetti al dente, the spicy Bolognese that reminded us of fine herbs from the garden. And yes, unfortunately, all those wonderful memories were shattered last Monday. Where should I start? With the positive? The Italian salad, which we highlighted to the waitress, made a face like, Now the guests have enjoyed it too. I just don 't want to take any unnecessary steps, I want to go home. When asked about the daily special, Scaloppina with pepper sauce, and the first opportunity to delight a guest, for example, My husband got the best piece of meat at the wholesale market today; he can cure it pink with salt if requested, she replied, Uh, yeah. The main thing was not to show enthusiasm, not to make the third paying customer that evening feel like a guest. We both ordered pizza. One 4 Seasons, this one with two serious technical errors, just to say. The kitchen assistant preferred to skip a step: the important preheating and heating the peppers in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius so that the skin could be easily removed, naturally enhancing the peppers ' flavor and giving the guest a better palate. My companion 's skin got stuck in his throat, very unpleasant. My Pizza Boss, probably prepared by the kitchen assistant today. My beloved Bolognese lacked herbs, seasoning, and fat. This was probably also because nothing on the pizza was pizza ready. Tomato sauce? Watery.... Melted cheese? Completely forgotten, see picture. Raw mushrooms were spread on top to make the topping even waterier and more neutral. When I expressed my displeasure to my companion, she said, That 's enough. I thought we were going to be thrown out, but no, we had to pay the full amount. As a reward, the waitress smoked outside the restaurant and immediately angrily grabbed her wallet inside. Wash your hands? No, it costs time and money. The slightly sour Hefeweizen on tap is also a good choice; perhaps they should disinfect and clean the pipes; a fresh keg should actually be a good argument. We skipped dessert, and there was no espresso on the house. A little tip for the restaurant couple: At Ruderhaus am Rhein, a former vice world champion bakes pizzas, while at Spagnolli Rohrlachstraße, the current pizza world champion (rolling out the dough) bakes them. Even so, their flatbread is light years ahead of La Perla 's pizza in terms of appetizing taste and Italian culinary standards. We will definitely turn our backs on La Perla in the future; we 're not really in the mood for food anyway. We 're full enough to be not welcome.
