Was Anonym at Klosterstübchen a mag?
We arrived to Speyer tired and hungry and were desperately looking for a place to eat. As it was a nice warm evening all the restaurant at main street were packed, only this wine bar, hidden in the courtyard offered a few vacant places, so...More View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Klosterstübchen:
and for itself it is not bad if the menu is small and clear. but here she misses every whistle; the time has remained in the palpitate many years ago. a large place take in the typical dishes on the menu. we ordered leberknödel with herb and brot at 10.90 € (!). herb and brot were good. the leberknödel, however, were so soft and tasteless as if they had been boiled several times. the same applies to the glassy bevels... Een beetje hidden lokatie, eenvoudig klassiek restuarant met een genuine duitse menukaart en heerlijke zeer grote glazen wijn

And for itself it is not bad if the menu is small and clear. but here she misses every whistle; the time has remained in the palpitate many years ago. a large place take in the typical dishes on the menu. we ordered leberknödel with herb and brot at 10.90 € (!). herb and brot were good. the leberknödel, however, were so soft and tasteless as if they had been boiled several times. the same applies to the glassy bevels, of which only the shell was often visible. the rieslingschorle was also below average: it was slightly sweet and without fresh spatter. - through the kitchen door open to the counter not only the noises but also the smells, so that we had to ventilate our clothes at home.

A bit off in the corngasse, but still centrally located in the old town of speyer, the palpitate offers a surprisingly attractive, historically active and very cozy ambiente. you just feel comfortable as a hospitable! the menu is not overloaded, the kitchen offers typical local or regional dishes, very tastefully prepared. excellent wee supplement the offer. a local of this type you have to look for long in some cities.

It was a cool and rainy day in Speyer so the outdoor area of this restaurant was folded up. Too bad. But inside there is a large room with tables and a hearth that was very welcoming. The staff was an older couple who were helpful. The menu features local specialties. We tried the Maultaschen and the Pfälzer Teller which consisted of Leberknödel, Bratwurst, Saumagen with Sauerkraut and Brot. We did not quite know what to expect from the Saumagen, but it was very tasty. None of these dishes would be considered light fair. Since the day was cool and damp, they matched our appetite.Since this is a Weinstube as well as a restaurant, we tried some of the local white wines. They were light and mildly fruity as is typical of German white wines.Overall a very satisfying meal.
