It's got vanilla cream, a caramel drizzle, little toffee brickle bits, an unexpected scoop of ice cream, and, however inexplicably, zwei Pocky. (To be honest, I'm always surprised by a random appearance of Pocky. And while in my experience crepes are usually plated in quarters or even sixths in order to fit on a small luncheon plate, at Cafe Hindenburg it is mostly flat with an artistic fold on a beautiful deckle-edge glass plate the size of a steering wheel. Which means a LOT of caramel. It's too big and too sweet for one person dining alone, but I gave it a good try, lingering at the sidewalk cafe next to the fountain, listening to the murmurs of my fellow patrons. Next time I'll try harder. Or maybe try one of their gelati.

There was a... read more Cafe Hindenburg is a great cafe located in Speyer. When I went, the cafe was completely full. I decided to keep it quick and order a gelato to go . There was a line, but it moved quickly. The staff was fast and efficient. They were also friendly and spoke decent English. As expected, the prices were a great deal for what I got. The portions of the gelato was generous and the gelato was delicious! I would definitely try this place if I 'm back in the area and I recommend this place to others!

There are 2 hot drinks of choice, 2 orange juices, rolls, crucifixes, eggs, muesli, yogurt with fruits, sweets and hearty variations for the rolls. Special requests are processed without problems. We like to go to breakfast. Further breakfast options are also possible. In this cafe the staff is very friendly and also the boss is absolutely super and friendly. Our favorite café of Speyer

The perfect cappuccino with freshly baked Belgian waffles. The portions are huge. Actually, we wanted to have a little dessert.... You can divide a plate into two or maybe even three. We ordered a portion of waffles with powdered sugar and a portion with ice and nutella. These were thick waffles, slightly caramelized from the outside and crispy, soft from the inside. I'm not a huge fan of waffles, but in this house they have the right recipe. A good address for connoisseurs.
