our server has not come to check on us. most of the food we had was absolutely delicious, especially the brussels sprouts. my main question was that the steak (ribeye) I ordered, cooked medium rare was medium heavy and well made to put on some. it was very dry and hard. I will be definitiw back, but not to get the steak View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Tulip Tree:
The food was overpriced for the quality. Whipped mashed potatoes were bland. Steak was undercooked, maybe due to the thickness, but did have a flavor that didn’t need any sauce. Overall I would rate this a 6 out of 10. View all feedback.
This little, charming restaurant has very gourmet food and cocktail choices. This my go to for a special lunch or dinner, by myself or with someone. It’s truly special. It has great ambiance!
Loved everything from the ambiance to the service. Food was spectacular. Server was top notch !
L chose to celebrate my birthday at The Tulip Tree. Ambiance was pleasant with tea light candles and gorgeous original artwork every where. The seating was prompt and the staff was courteous and attentive. For drinks, we had the Spanish Flu which I dearly loved. For appetizers, we had the Okra and the Oysters Rockefeller, delicious. My husband loved the pimento cheese twist on the oysters. The okra was deep fried whole pod-yummy! For entrees, I had the crab cakes while he had the prime rib. Delicious! We couldn’t finish either item and they packed it up for us to take home. As a special treat, they brought me a chocolate mini bomb thingy which was to die for. We’re looking forward to going back.
All four of us enjoyed our culinary experience. our waiter was friendly and helpful. overall, our eating was delicious, especially the salad and crumb cake. unfortunately ordered us three collars, but they could not eat because they were too salty. but we plan to return.
Enjoy the atmosphere, eating and service. I'm back!
