Subway - Spartanburg

Ever since the new owner took over this restaurant, I have seen a significant decline in quality. This used to be a great fast food spot in the downtown area, especially for the 8-5 crowd. However, under the new ownership, there have been changes in staff, breakfast service has been discontinued, the food is not always fresh, many items are frequently unavailable due to running out, and there is no tea available because the machine is broken. As a business person and restaurant owner, one would expect better for the establishment and for the customers. I am highly disappointed with the current state of this restaurant.

For 2 consecutive Fridays I have ordered online, but when it's time for me to pick up my order (before the posted close time of 6:00P, usually around 4:00), the restaurant is CLOSED. No sign on the door, nothing. The food is delicious, but if the owner is approving a change of hours, it would be nice to know before I pay online for something I won't be able to receive. Very disappointing.

It was my first visit and I had a good experience. I ordered the spinach wrap with teriyaki chicken, provolone cheese, spinach leaves, chipotle ranch sauce, with light pepper. * if someone wants to try it* please bring back the mesquite bbq sauce! I would have written a photo, but unfortunately the sandwich didn't make it. I'll go next time.

Service was fast and friendly quite par for the course, we have found. The actual customer service came when my child knocked my sandwich on the floor within 45 seconds and my other child fell out of his chair. The workers quickly came to our help, check our son and give us a new sandwich. They didn't have to. We'll be back!

The service at this restaurant was outstanding! The waitress prepared our sandwich exactly how we wanted it and added just the right amount of ingredients. The restaurant was very clean and easily accessible, making it a great spot for a quick lunch.
