Poke Bros. - Spartanburg

After not having a poke bowl for over 13 years, I was hesitant to try a poke bowl place on the East Coast. However, I am glad that I gave it a shot! The food was fresh and delicious.

I adore Poke Bros! Every time I am in Spartanburg (without my kids because there are limited options for them), you can find me at Poke Bros. I always order the Johnny Utah with marinated tuna over sushi rice - it's delicious! The quality is consistently great and the service is quick.

I really enjoy eating at this restaurant, but today I witnessed a concerning incident. The girl who took my card was wearing gloves and then went straight back to preparing food without changing them. I waited to see if she would take them off, but she continued to prepare the next order with the same gloves. She gave me a questioning look when she saw me still there, but continued to work without addressing the issue. I try not to cause trouble, but this lack of proper hygiene is unacceptable. It's important to have respect for the food being served and maintain the integrity of the restaurant. Gloves should be used to protect the food, not just the employees' hands.

Oh my god! if they love sushi and have never been here, do their taste buds a favor and go! it is in the ground sushi in a bowl and is exceptional! After I went there for the first time, I went back for the next two days. you choose what you want, and the sauces and beats. tastes like my favorite sushi bar!

OMG I have been missing out. This is some of the freshest food I’ve ever eaten. I have been here almost every day since trying last Thursday. My go to place. Clean healthy eating. You get very full but not sluggish after eating. I love this place I highly recommend to anyone who’s trying to eat and stay healthy. Thank you Poke Bros. All you need now is more locations in Spartanburg. I will gladly promote.
