What User doesn't like about Ny Hibachi Sushi Buffet:
The food is decent but not exceptional, and while there's a reasonable variety, it could be better. The restaurant itself is clean and pleasant. However, the prices are outrageous. The staff ranges from indifferent to downright rude. Unfortunately, it's the only decent choice for a Chinese buffet in the area. We paid $50 for lunch for two adults and two kids on a weekday, which is really disappointing. View all feedback.
The food was not bad from the main buffet. I enjoyed the sushi bar and my friend enjoyed the hibachi chef bar though.Unfortunately the staff was not friendly and we were sit in a location where they loudly did back of house chores. It was cute but not sure I'll go back. Unfortunately, the atmosphere of a restaurant can override the food experience for me personally.
Went to go sit with my friends while they ate and the lady took forever to even come sit us, during which time a family came in behind us and was waiting as well. When my friend told her I was not eating she told me i had to sit in the lobby. I have never been asked to do this as I usually sit at the table and order a drink while I chat with my friends. I ended up sitting and waiting in the car as my friends ate. Do not recommend, also saw they were charging for food waste which is an okay idea in general but according to other reviews it is outrageous. Would give zero stars if I could.
When first walked in, they make you pay before you sit down at table. I was by myself and it cost me over $20. I tried their dinner buffet here, first time tonight.Half the food was hot. And other half was not. (Room temperature) They have signs everywhere not waste food. How am I supposed to know if I like it unless take a little bit to try? Or to know if it's hot enough or cold and nasty? My first plate was the best. I got Lomaine noodles with broccoli, onions, shell fish and shrimp. It was fresh and hot!I left the grill man couple bucks, even though technically already paid for it.At the end, the waiter guy never filled my drink but did take my dishes. So I left $2 bucks on the table. I didn't even get fortune cookies. For $25 dinner, you'd think that would be included. (Oh well)
Probably the worst buffet we have had and we have visited many buffets! The only edible thing they had was the coconut shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, kid’s pizza and wings. All the other chicken was dry and tasteless or hard and drowned in sauce! We left feeling a bit nauseous. Signs say if you leave a lot of food on your plate they’ll charge you. We left with a bunch of chicken on one plate, and that’s probably exactly why they say this!! It’s disgusting!! A couple months ago, parents went and they said not to go here but we did anyway. Wish we had listened. (Also, it is too expensive for the quality!! $50 for two adults and one kid)
The lady at the counter was rude, very unfriendly!!! I was trying to ask her about takeout and she just ignored the question. Kept asking what I wanted to drink. The food was warm to cold. I understand a buffet, is open but cold food. Wasn't worth what I paid. Then had the nerve to have a sign on the table that said they will charge you $5 if you leave too much food on your plate, a waste fee. If the food was good, they wouldn't have to worry about it being left on the plate. Maybe the food from the hibachi grill had a better chance. Wish I had spent my money somewhere else!!!
