Local F.i.g - Spartanburg

Food is consistently good. Hit by staff shortages like everyone, the local fig still is a treat with their pairing of foods.

Only one wait staff employee who also was the bartender and barrista. She was wonderful and attentive, very courteous. The dining room needs to be cleaned and dusted, and cobwebs could be seen, along with drawings peeling off the wall. Not claiming that the food was bad, but the 3 of us all had stomach issues during the night into the morning.

Local fig used to be a cool hip place with a nice atmosphere. Now anyone hardly goes there but I love the laid backness of the new vibe. And the food and drinks are always good.

We've tried the local fig twice within the past month and really wanted to love it. Both times we've been there were deals like BOGO burgers and kids eat free so that's a plus! Unfortunately, the food just is not that good and our recent experience with brunch was terrible. The food, service, and vibe were fabulous. Had the house salad and Mediterranean wrap. The house made balsamic dressing was delicious. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the spicy feta was a great surprise. If you haven’t eaten here, you should. In fact, you should go there immediately.
