The service was the perfect combination of casual... read more Stopped in today as I was traveling through Sparta for work and I was blown away. Every aspect was fantastic. The service was the perfect combination of casual yet attentive. The atmosphere is unique and full of character and completely adds to the experience. Mostly importantly the food was wonderful. I had the torta cubana at the restaurant and purchased two regular cuban sandwiches to go. They were both stellar and I cannot wait to return to this restaurant and try more options. It's obvious that the owners of this establishment are passionate about what they do and they execute it very well. This place is a total gem and I cannot wait for my next experience here.

The interior has a cozy vibe, but they also offer a fantastic outdoor deck where you can take in the beautiful surroundings. With the exceptional quality of food, you're sure to savor every bite. Additionally, the service was outstanding.

They offer 3 to 4 daily specials that are not listed on the menu, and they are always outstanding! Each special comes with black beans or pintos, rice, a side salad, and tortillas. The chips are fantastic, and the homemade salsa and hot sauce are excellent as well! Plus, the owner/operators are incredibly friendly!

The black beans and rice (Moros) were bland; it would ha... read more I ordered the lunch special, which was Cuban Piccadillo. It was decent, but I’ve definitely had better. The black beans and rice (Moros) were bland; it would have been better to serve them separately so I could mix the black bean juice with the rice. My daughter and son-in-law both had a chicken sandwich and a Cuban sandwich, and they enjoyed both, with the Cuban being the standout. The chips and salsa served before the meal were quite good. I had to request a refill for my tea, and unfortunately, my son-in-law's water was never refilled.
