best sandwich chain in the city! Unfortunately they do not have any gluten-free brot option so that I do not in the position to return for a small because. when I wasn't gf, I've always been here. I recommend a truthahn and provolone with avocado, pickles and salat on a sourdough roll. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Port Of Subs:
dreadful service, horrendous holdings and terrible submissiveness made by a child who clearly never made a subdivision before his life. the brot on the one side came completely apart and he just hit on it and barely rolled up the 2 subparts that my girls ordered. I came home and it was a mess, the blows were gone everywhere. in these days everything is in the price, but they charge much too much for the slop they sel... View all feedback.
I recently visited this restaurant and was very disappointed with their prices. I ordered a 2-foot special #4 for $16.00, but ended up paying a total of $25.93 due to additional charges for extra cheese and ham. It felt like I paid an extra $10 for the extras and taxes. The cheese portion was sufficient, but the amount of ham was lacking compared to other Port of Subs locations that offer double meat. The service was good, but not exceptional. This experience has happened to me before at this establishment, so I don't plan on returning. The ham was sliced so thinly that it was practically see-through, while the cheese was the same as always.
I ordered a Tuna salad online. It was very convenient and I was able to skip the long line. There were plenty of additional toppings to choose from and the portion size was generous. I highly recommend this option!
I have been going to this sub shop since it opened, around 20 years ago. In the past, they always had older employees which I appreciated. Usually, I give the benefit of the doubt to younger staff, but unfortunately, many of the young employees working there now are unfriendly when I visit. They seem completely unwilling and careless when making sandwiches. I rarely write reviews, as I have experience in the industry, but this experience has bothered me for months.
I've been coming here for years and love Subs there. Later they were under the staff. Since I've been there at noon because there are only two workers working at noon. I tried to order and it takes a long time No big thing I understand. I still enjoy the port of Subs all day...
This week my boss bought lunch from this Port of Subs, service and food well.Did it again on Friday and service and food Sucked. Sandwiches not marked, so we had to touch everything, the sandwiches in general were over and under made.. When did they start with round Ham? Not Capitola. Is that a price reduction? Every sandwich had Mayo, Must, Pickles Olives, Salad, Onion and Tomato... even TUNA. This port of Subs has in the 15 years under different management 5 tmes that I have worked in the warehouse district and they seem to go down. Even the young children who work there carriers for a franchise, as these are not getting the real training and or respect they should get to do their best and practice customer service that we all need today tomorrow and always. Internal order intake and processing is not better, for many have had enough experience to give customers what they pay for. Do not try to call this, the news machine always comes up and refers you to the line order. The result that didn't work so well. And so wrong and so unsightly that we have all become... check your order B 4 YOU LEAVE. The customer behind you may appreciate that you do this because they also do. Thank you. Susie
