The sushi is excellent here. I really like the Spanaway Rolls delicious! I am fortunate to live nearby Umai and have eaten here many times before and never disappointed. The people who work here are also very nice.

First time here. Found it doing a Google search. The other one closer to me wasn't rated nearly as high so I chose this one instead. They even have fresh sushi type rolls too. I will return to this place.

Umai teriyaki is one of my mom's favorite places to go. She lives over near Spokane now. But she still comes every year on her birthday for her favorite sushi rolls. And whenever she walks through the door they make her feel welcome. The service is good, the food is good and you usually get it pretty quick.

I have only tried five items from Umai, including three different sushi rolls, the gyoza, and their combo fried rice. However, I have to say that I absolutely love the fried rice and gyoza so much that I always end up ordering them every time. I am always completely satisfied with my meal and my taste buds are in heaven. The portions are generous and I always have enough leftover rice for another meal. The sushi rolls were also delicious and I will definitely order them again whenever I am craving a sushi snack.
