The ambiance inside is nice and the outside eating area is sheltered and pleasant. The staff are friendly enough; I would add that the service is pretty slow and we had to remind our waitress twice regarding our drinks. I ordered the “Zwiebel-Roastbraten” which, if you’ve eaten one before, was nothing like what you would expect. Normally there are cooked onions on the steak -this the name. Not here. It appeared to me that the chef was going for a new interpretation on this classic meal. And failed. What I got was a nicely cooked but very small portion of steak. That’s all. I ordered French-fries instead of the “Blutzenbrot”. I paid €25.00 for about 100 grams of meat and some fries...no salad and no vegetables. I have had much better steaks for less money. I think the chef is trying to be too fancy and forgetting about what is important...namely providing a good meal that matches the price. I would normally not pay more than €15,00 for what I received. My juice with carbonated water was flat and had no fizz. Disappointing. The three people I was here with enjoyed their meals well enough. If you do eat here don’t order the steak. It isn’t worth it.

Service was amazing from begin... read more I have visited here for lunch on Sunday 20th May 2018. Was absolutely fantastic! Food was so delicious and beautifully presented. Service was amazing from beginning to end. . The staff were all wonderful. Especially Andrea Hoffmanns who is the head chef. Thank you all. I will definitely be back the next time i am in Nürnberg Germany. 5 stars for you
