We had eaten here before some three years ago, in the week, and found the menu du jour then very acceptable. The restaurant is situated in an attractive spot, a... read more We had eaten here before some three years ago, in the week, and found the menu du jour then very acceptable. The restaurant is situated in an attractive spot, and the principal dining room is welcoming. Yesterday we were in a second room, somewhat less welcoming, and took two hours over a three course meal. The starter (a simple ardoise of charcuterie) was OK, the main course (a giant meat ball with damn all meat in it, and burnt mange tout peas) frankly a disgrace, the dessert (eventually) surprisingly pleasant. For the money or less one can eat far better in the area. No I will not be going back to see what the menu du jour is like nowadays.
