We were greeted by Domenico, the waiter,... read more I had dinner with friends at Riviera yesterday, and I have to say it's the best restaurant in Soverato, in my opinion. We were greeted by Domenico, the waiter, who was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to every situation. He presented us with the freshest fish of the day—truly excellent—and showed us every dish that could be made with the fish that was in front of us, which Domenico had previously explained to us. Everything was truly delicious; the fish melted in your mouth, and you could taste all the freshness and deliciousness. At the end of the bill, I expected to pay more, but I can say that the value for money is truly exceptional. I highly recommend it, and we'll see you again soon.

Huge disappointment, and certainly will never return.

The place was nearly empty, but... read more We were staying in Catanzaro Lido and did a day trip to Soverato. Lovely beach. We decided to have lunch at Ristorante Riviera. The place was nearly empty, but the waitstaff were welcoming and seated us in the sun room. Very pleasant. The meal was very nice, pleasantly presented and the room was very comfortable. We were surprised, however, at the 160 euro bill for lunch. I think we simply took the waiter's recommendation without benefit of knowing the price. Next time we would ask.

A very good pasta plate as primo and then a salvage day fish well prepared and cooked. The price of the diferent dishes were well listed and like in every reputed fish restaurant mentioned for 100 gr. We drank a bottle of calabrese red wine proposed by the orner of the restaurant at a very attractive price. So in summary if you are looking for an high level restaurant, nô hesition, the Riviera is the place to be.
