A great place in the middle of nature, near a river. The restaurant is a bit far from the lake, a 15-minute walk, but with a car only 5. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and very large. The tables are separated from each other, on a hot summer day it is the best place because the river makes the air a little colder. You don't have to wait much until you make your meal, everything is fresh and delicious. You can taste many Romanian foods, such as stagnant cabbage, mititei, stew. The exhausted beer is always fresh and cold, which is what you need on a hot summer day. Prices are not high, really affordable place.
An Easter meal began with lamb trips and red eggs, drove with an amazing lamb soup and a roast lamb that licks your fingers and made homemade cakes with cakes and bread in our own kitchen.
The Strada Trandafirilor nr153 Stana de Vale is about 1 km from the Sovata town centre. A mansion, family business, led by Brad family. Excellent traditional food served in a relaxing environment surrounded by tall trees and the river sound right at the table. Ask for Tanti Carolina-the head of the place to follow you a ciorba de cartofi cu ciolan afumat (potato soup with smoked pork leg) if you can still eat served by a grilled domestic trout. You get there every day, like us. And we discovered the place nine years ago; never disappointed. Enjoy! Tiberiu
