I had an excellent experience at this butcher shop and I'm so glad we discovered it early in our vacation. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable, and the variety of products available is impressive. I've been coming here for nearly 10 years every time I visit Southwold. It's the friendliest butcher I've ever encountered, with a staff that is both interesting and helpful. They offer fantastic ready-made dishes like amazing chicken kievs and delicious venison and bark wellingtons. Everything is locally sourced, and they have a great selection of local venison. The prices are very reasonable as well, making it a winning choice all around!
How much better can a local butcher shop get? mills will quickly become a 'destination' for visitors of the beautiful southwold; it has simply class; combination of tradition with the highest quality meat, beautifully presented. combine this with delicious cheese and the youth of the owner and this place can be defeated. it would not be out of place in the marylebone high street!
Best meat under the sun! Everything you need for a cracking dinner, as well as a wonderful cheese counter, bread, baked goods and other goodies. The staff are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is cosy.
Super, super, super. Could stand in the doorway all day! What delicious aroma's. Quality produce vended the old fashioned way. Passion, knowledge, quality produce and customer service. I'd move to Southwold!!!
Superb! A fantastic butcher amongst, if not the best I have ever visited. Also superb cheese. All in all quite wonderful.
