What a lovely little pub for a quick drink before catching the train! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is warm. There’s a great selection of ales to choose from, too. It's just a 2-minute walk from Southwick train station, so there's no reason not to stop by! View all feedback.

Trip back in time to what pubs were like when I was younger. Great! Good beer, well priced, colourful clientele!!
I have used this place for many years. It is a traditional pub filled with naval bric-a-brac, and often crammed. It can be noisy then. The staff are shall we say, old school, the place is crammed with character, just on the edge of a village shopping centre, and not far from either the station of the cricket green. Its limited wine list meets most pub food requirements, whilst it specialises in better local draft bitters and premium ciders. I am an Addlestones addict, (cloudy, with bits, slightly sparking, and REAL apple flavour) and also like some of the others. Food is served in generous proportions and represents excellent value. There is a fixed menu and a daily specials board led by what the local farmers and fishermen have provided, and this often yields gems. For those who want to sample what a small family run pub has been for the last xx years, this is the place to visit!
