absolutely disgusting. had my 93-year-old nan and a three- and five-year-old with us. the majority of us ordered a chicken dish (with in the understood there were 9 people) and all chicken dishes were raw! we ordered starters that they were also wrong and I had to change after we waited for so long. the creation of the owner, des managers and the staff was disgusting. we cut a chicken flour and the blood started to r... classic british' indian. surma won no awards for innovative cuisine, although they won the best curry house award of the east dulwich forum in 2007. it's a pretty normal curry house. nothing extraordinary on the menu, good solid standard dishes fresh and well prepared. when everything they are on the spicing is easy, occasionally something too heavy in the oil.
