It's a bike shop, it's a bicyle repair shop, and it's a cafe. What's not to like? What a total opposite to the lunch service I'd just endured. The guy behind the counter was welcoming, friendly and charming. The coffee was really excellent the banana cake fresh, moist tasty. I love the decor and ambiance in Machine. It never fails to cheer you up. It's a terrific idea it works superbly well.

The lady serving is always very friendly too. They also repair bicycles!

And I can confirm that i... read more I cycle past this place on my way to work every day and finally decided to stop there to see what it was like. I ordered a large latte. And I can confirm that indeed they do a fantastic coffee. It was more like a large flat white, which for me was perfect. It's a warm cosy place, with some quirky furniture e.g. Bar stools with Brooks saddles for seats. Definitely worth stopping off to visit.
