What chunkymonkey1977 likes about Chinese Canteen:
I was in London for work, and staying in the Travel Lodge nearby. After finishing work late in night, I called in for a take away to eat in my room. The staff were friendly, the food tasty and also reasonably priced for London. I would recommend you give it at try. View all feedback. What GazHD doesn't like about Chinese Canteen:
I was visiting this part London and fancied a Chinese. The Singapore Fried Noodles was OK. It wasnt the best by any means. It was perfectly acceptable and worth the £5 but it didnt have a lot of meat. I would eat here again as maybe there are some better Asian dishes to be had, but the menu was a little limited so we will see. View all feedback.

While some patrons felt the dishes lacked in portion size and consistency—citing issues like burnt noodles and limited menu options—many found satisfaction in the flavors and value for money. Friendly staff add to the welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the dining experience. Highlights include well-prepared dishes like Malaysian fried chicken noodles and hearty curries. For those seeking a casual meal without pretense, this hidden gem may be worth a visit despite its small size and humble presentation.
