Was Aikia at Cornbread Restaurant Bar a mag?
My initial interaction with a staff member named Destiny was not pleasant. When I called to ask about the wait time for a party of 12 on a Sunday (since they don't take reservations), she was rude and dismissive. However, the host Art completely turned my experience around when we arrived. He was helpful and accommodating, and our waitress was fantastic as well.

What Law Eroom dislikes about Cornbread Restaurant Bar:
Ambiance: The restaurant was clean, just the right size and the decor looked awesome! Service: Briana was our server and she was professional, kind, funny, and very personable. She attended to our needs and made a killer green tea shot. Definitely will be seeking her out when we return. Food: DELICIOUS!!! The salmon croquette was seasoned to perfection and the greens and yams tasted out of this world good. My wife an... View all feedback.
The atmosphere at the restaurant was fantastic and inviting. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was superb. It was served piping hot and fresh. Each person in our group of 7 ordered something different and not a single person had any complaints. We had a wonderful time!
To start, I was unaware that the restaurant had relocated from its previous location up the street. Latanya, the guest relations employee, was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The host at the door was also kind and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food continued to have that classic Beans 'n Cornbread vibe in their new location. I encourage you to visit and see for yourself.

Although they had run out of a few menu items, the substitutions were still enjoyable. Cornbread Restaurant Bar could benefit from providing better customer service training to their staff to ensure a consistently amazing experience for every guest. Additionally, offering reservations would be a nice added touch. Overall, it is a great restaurant.
Cornbread Restaurant Bar, formerly known as Beans and Cornbread was another hit among family and friends????. I stopped in this weekend for a nice birthday dinner and everything we ordered tasted AMAZING. We order Fried Perch, Pork Chops, FriedChicken, Catfish, Gumbo, Fried Green Tomatoes a few additional sides. Sides we ordered included potato salad, green beans, collard greens, man n cheese, and of course cornbread! I would of given them 5 stars but I did have a few areas of growth forthe business to help provide an even better experience. First, my initial impression speaking with a young lady name Destiny wasNOT pleasant. I called to inquire about the average wait time on a Sunday for seating for 12, because they don’t takereservations. She was very rude, and repeatedly told me, “ if you want, come put your name on the list! “ (she wasn’tbeing helpful though, it was in a very sarcastic and annoyed tone) I stated it was a few hours before I planned on having dinnerbut was just inquiring so I knew how long before to arrive. I honestly wanted to just pick another place after this interactionbut I decided to still give them a try. Once we arrived the host Art, change my whole experience. He was very helpful andaccommodating and did his best to accommodate our seating needs. Our waitress was also amazing! All of our food was accurate andfresh, they did however run out of a few items, which we had to substitute but that happens from time to time so in this case itwasn’t a big deal. Cornbread Restaurant Bar, could do some coaching on customer interaction and etiquette with some of itsstaff, to help provide an amazing experience consistently every-time. Also reservations would be nice as well. Greatrestaurant?? ????????????????
First of all, I didn’t know that they had moved from up the street. Latanya (the guest relations employee was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The handsome gentleman on the door was kind and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting andthe food was still giving Beans ‘n Cornbread vibes in a new location. Check them out for yourself
