The Full Moon Oyster - Southern Pines

Great relaxing atmosphere! The beer special on Thursday evening makes you feel like a stay. Hubby loved his oysters and shrimps. The steak in my backpack was a bit hard and hard to chew, but my drink was delicious! It was a pleasant evening out. Loves the terrace seating.

Waiting was ugh. At least 30 minutes, but worth it. Service was good. Efficient and friendly. They went to the bar what people wanted. The food was great even though the shells were small. They had no shells, but shrimps to our full moon at $60. Abso the grilled oysters loved $25! They reminded me of those of Acme NOLA. Not so big, but decent size and pretty tasty. The streamed shrimps had sprinkled the Old Bay on it. Didn't know that I had asked myself not to sit, because my children don't like powder on their shrimps. The fish basket was pretty nice with Lota-Fries and Hush-Puppies. It would be nice if we could replace the pages with other things. Because my mother dared me, I tried 1 piece of her quarter moon. If you are spicy or simply the challenge. It's good to try. Heat would be 8/10 to 9/10. Oyster with jalapeño, horseradish and chili sauce on a cracker. It was a bit expensive, but we celebrated a birthday. Also for the seafood and the amount we have eaten, the price was acceptable. If we didn't celebrate a birthday, we might have $20-30.

The carburized oysters are always quite good, they have different specialties during the week you can see them on the big chalkboard. Nice place for some seafood and drinks. The staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to food recommendations. For me great place for a quick bite of oysters and beers.

Phenomenal food. They don't always have everything in stock, but to me this is a mark of freshness, especially with regard to seafood. My absolute favorite are the crab legs. Oysters are awesome as well. We go here on special occasions because the prices are more than average, but we always have a great time and awesome food.
