What Edvige Carbone likes about Sweet Basil:
Wonderful salads, soups and sandwiches served at lunch time only. Unusual menu catering to all kinds of eaters. Get there before 12 because it’s s very popular lunch spot. View all feedback. What Donna Redmon doesn't like about Sweet Basil:
The restaurant has undergone some changes, but unfortunately not for the better. There is no table service - patrons must grab a menu upon entering, seat themselves, and then go to the register to place their order. read moreSweet Basil has received mixed reviews from customers, with some noting a decline in service quality and others praising the delicious food. The restaurant has seen changes in its service style, with diners now having to pick up menus at the door, seat themselves, and then order at the register. The food has received mixed reviews, with some diners finding it overpriced and disappointing, while others have raved about the salads, soups, and sandwiches. Specialties like the Hot Vegetarian sandwich and Turkey Ruben have been highlighted as particularly delicious. Despite some complaints about the cramped interior and the use of styrofoam containers for serving, Sweet Basil seems to have a loyal following of patrons who appreciate the unique menu offerings and friendly service.
