Sandy Cove Tavern - SOUTH YUNDERUP

The Sandy Bay Tavern was a surprise.Having heard about it from friends it was time to check the joint out.It had everything, TAB, TVs in every direction showing Foxtel Sports so you couldn't miss the action and a drive through bottle shop. Oh! I missed out how close it was to the Murray River for the boaties to moor.The service was friendly and efficient.Next came the meal which for me was the Fish and chips.They got it right on all levels even the coffee which not many places do right.I travelled over 70km to have a pleasurable winters day lunch. The locals have a gem of a watering hole in the Sandy Bay Tavern.As the saying goes "I'll be back"

Had lunch at Sandy Cove Tavern, simple fish and chips, delicious, food was great, atmosphere good and staff friendly and helpful. They even have docking facilities if you wish to arrive in a boat.

Pizza, kids meal and 2 rounds of drinks 55 bucks. In WA? I say yep and other over priced yuppy wannabe pubs 'like back in the U.K' take note.This place is the real deal. Almost NSW pub worthy. Not flash but way better than average.New York pizza GF base outstanding. Friendly staff and locals who seem to welcome fresh faces.Observed overflowing pasta dishes at other tables- marinara smell off the charts good.....we'll be back.

Beautiful location, lovely meals - great service. A great selection of beers on tap as well as wines & spirits. We both had the Sandy special salad with chicken, which was not only delicious, but an extremely generous portion. Neither of us could finish it! The staff are friendly and super helpful. A lovely place to visit in winter, really picturesque, imagine it must be very popular in summer. Don't miss this one if you're anywhere near, it's well worth the trip.
