We stayed at The Catash Inn Fri Mon in readiness for a friends Wedding which was held over two days. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at the Catash and that was due to the owners Caroline who is a fab landlady and James a fab chef and also their other members of staff. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The meal we ate in there on the Fri evening and the breakfasts we had were all excellen... View all feedback.
What a charming pub! I met up with a friend there since it was conveniently located halfway between us. We enjoyed some delicious pub food at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere was fantastic, with pleasant staff and friendly regulars.
Nice local, perfect for a pint after a game of squash or tennis
Thank you to Caroline and the amazing staff for their outstanding service, cozy ambiance, and tasty food. The variety of dishes offered was impressive, with options available for gluten-free and vegan diners, as well as those who love a good sausage roll! Thank you once again.
Lovely drinks selection and staff are very friendly.
We had traveled to the area to visit the Haynes Museum just up the road. Originally planning to eat at another local pub, we left due to poor service and atmosphere. After searching on Google Maps, we decided to stop at The Catash Inn for lunch. The pub had recently undergone a makeover, which was well done. Despite the stereotype of non-locals not being welcomed in such places, we felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in. We were pleasantly surprised when the chef agreed to prepare food for us, even though it was late in the afternoon. I had the hunters chicken with chips, which I found to be good value for money. The chips were delicious and the chicken and bacon were tasty. My wife enjoyed the macaroni cheese with chips, although she found the portion size to be too big. The pub has a good-sized car park at the back, with overnight parking available for campervans according to other reviews. The toilets were well maintained and very clean. Overall, we had a positive experience at The Catash Inn and would consider staying overnight if we ever visit the area with our campervan.
