Popped here for a morning walk as my daughter loves horses. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady that volunteers. She gave a talk about what they do and how they help horses both in the UK and overseas. She also talked us through the walk around the site and gave us a map. While walking around the trails. We got to meet some other staff that gave us information about the horses we could. Some of the amazing ho... View all feedback.
What Franceska N doesn't like about World Horse Welfare Glenda Spooner Farm:
I was not impressed on two visits here. Nothing could be further from a Bistro than this canteen. It was not exciting at all and over a coffee and a cake we could hardly hear ourselves talk above mothers and children whose voices echoed around the place. The decor is badly thought out with no sense of the lovely country it is set within take a book out of a national trust cafe and you may be able to improve. I won't... View all feedback.
We are regular visitors here. It's an amazing place in stunning surroundings that can be enjoyed by all. Still amazed at what they offer without charging admission. Great for horse lovers and non as beautiful walks and scenery. Ample areas for a picnic or visit the bistro, not had better food anywhere! Cannot recommend enough. Dogs welcome too.
This restaurant is a wonderful spot to stop by. My mother and I came in for a cup of tea and a slice of cake. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. The cake was delicious and the tea was excellent. It's a great place to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views on a sunny day.
We had a great time at Glenda Spooner farm today, even with the heavy rain showers. The staff and volunteers were very friendly, the food at the cafe was delicious, and it was interesting to watch horses and riders in the indoor arena. There were plenty of easy walks to do with young children in the beautiful countryside, and lots of horses and ponies to visit. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Brilliant day out, great facilities, helpful staff, the ponies and horses are very well looked after, highly recommend a visit
We went for Sunday Lunch which was superb probably the best I've had anywhere ,lovely staff too, and very reasonable prices. There were only two horses in when we went but that was ok as we spent time reading all the success stories ,amazed at what such hard work and dedication goes into each individual rehabilitation , well done everyone your amazing we are lucky to have a place like yours nearby , will definitely make it a regular stop now
