Honestly one of the best gluten free scrans I’ve ever had. Great service, food was amazing! Slightly expensive but worth it! I had a gluten free burger, but salads were also an option. 10/10 View all feedback.
What alison63823 doesn't like about Down The Hatch:
The waitress was knowledgeable about gluten-free options, even though they weren't labeled on the menu. The restaurant was quite busy, so the service was a little slow, but the food was hot and delicious. The burger bun held together better than any I've had at other places. As someone who is wheat intolerant, not celiac, I had no issues after my meal. View all feedback.
Online menu is not marked with gluten free but if you phone they will tell you that they can make the majority of the menu gluten free. The food was very yummy, I am very sensitive to cc and have not been affected. I had a bacon cheese burger and it was lovely.
Many parking spaces at this place. we sat outside where there are picnic bench seats and over head heaters. eating is reasonably expensive. we had breakfast that came in a skill. bottom pancakes were very fat, and coffee (cuppacino was very weak in taste for me, more like a weak latte. the personal is friendly and the booking is recommended.
Parking though it’s free to patrons is a bit tightly packed (concerned about vehicle door to door contact with my pride and joy), with the establishment having been recommended by a close friend my partner and I gave it a go. Very pleased with portion size and quality. I’m a fussy individual and I stand firm with a strict name and shame policy. This place is hand on heart FIRST CLASS.
Amazing Canadian restaurant, we've already tried the lunch menu and went back today for breakfast. Full plate and tasty food, nice craft coffee and a variety of juices. The waiters waitresses are lovely. The first time, we didn't know what to choose since there is so much on the menu that we wanted to try, but we had the lovely Ryan (hope we got his name right : who helped us choose. They only had a table outside on a cold day, but its was actually really comfortable, as they have heating on top and the set up is really nice. You can park across from it (for free , but remember to register your car when you enter the restaurant, it's also better to book in advance as the first time we went we were lucky to get a table as it is popular, and with it being busy, we got the last table available. I definitely recommend and we will be going back a third time :
Tastiest bagel and fries! Husband had the philly cheese steak and he said it was epic. You can get food in a box to takeaway to eat later. So filling!
