The lunch specials offer excellent value. The salad portions are substantial, and the selection of pizzas is extensive, with the thin crust pizzas being particularly generous in size. The desserts are outstanding, though they are slightly pricey; they can easily be shared between two people. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Uno Pizzeria Grill S. Portland:
They don't actually take reservations, so don't book them here. I chose this restaurant specifically because of the reservation option, which turned out to be nonexistent. View all feedback.
The lunch specials are a great value. The salad is generous. The pizza choices are unlimited and the pizza size is quite generous especially for the thin crust. Desserts are excellent although a little pricey. They could easily be split between two people.
We chose UNO because they have reservations available for our party of 7. The service was OK but the wait staff were not pleasant and there was no uniform or name tag to indicate that they even worked there. One waiter was wearing jeans and work boots. The food was overcooked. Bread on the chicken parm sandwich was so crispy it wasn't edible. Ordered a cheeseburger and it arrived with no cheese. Burger was gross. Got attitude for asking for mustard. The restaurant itself seems dated and the window shade was held down with tape.
We made a reservation and when we got there they told us they don’t do reservations, the site doesn’t work right and there was no seating available. When I originally mentioned I had a reservation, he said my name, so they definitely got it. I assume they just didn’t pay attention and filled the restaurant and couldn’t take any more tables.
Chicken was so dry, I choked. EMTs and police responded. I won’t go back. Staff was unprepared for the incident.
Our waiter was kind but seemed busy and made quite a few mistakes. My husband ordered a cauliflower crust pizza and received a gluten free pizza crust instead. The waiter laughed it off that he got confused and didn't offer to have it remade. I ordered a burger on a gluten free bun. The waiter came over with my families food and asked if I had ordered a gluten free bun or regular bun and if I had an allergy. I advised that I did have an allergy and ordered a gluten free bun. He said it was put on a regular bun and asked if they could switch it over to a gluten free bun or if I wanted it re-made. I asked for it to be re-made so there wasn't cross contamination. I very much appreciated him being honest and asking instead of just switching it to a gluten free bun. But overall, we weren't impressed that my order was wrong and that my husbands was wrong (and his wasn't offered to be fixed).
