What Blondie doesn't like about Bite Into Maine:
We tried 5 different lobster roll places. The lobster rolls were supposed to be hot with butter. They were very cold and average in size. I was very disappointed in them and do not recommend. I guess the quality is not as good with a food truck. View all feedback.
I had the Maine style. They have two sizes the smaller one is plenty comes with a few chips. I was pleased to find no lines. I think the lobster could have been a bit better but I'm pretty spoiled as I tend to get lobster fresh of the boats in Maine. But I would say this is still one of the better lobster rolls I've had. For sure check it out if your in the area I would be happy to go back.
Lobster roll was fine for me, they had multiple awards/recognition as what one of the signages said. Price was higher compared to other places. Service was good. Line was piling up compared to the two other foodtrucks near the head light. Serving size is okay in line with its price.
I was very excited to eat lobster in Maine. There is something that just tastes extra delicious when you eat it in Maine! On the way from Portsmouth, NH to Portland, ME, we drove along Route 1 and drove to Cape Elizabeth, Portland Head Light, Fort Williams Park and Bug Light. Fort Williams Park is a food truck. A food truck selling lobster rolls.
In addition to Eventide, Bite Into Maine was my favorite lobster on my trip by far. I immediately fell in love with the picnic-style lobster roll, which sits in a bed of Coleslaw for the lobster. Another aspect of the roles I loved was the crispy and buttery bread that enveloped the filling. It was a little mess to eat, but no complaints. Also helps to see the Portland Head Light right there in Fort Williams! Unfortunately we went on an extremely rainy and cold day, but it was worth the trek.
I'm trying to say I don't just like to compensate for the 100%. Damn. I have a balance, but I can't do it. I like it very much.
