Pizza Joint - South Portland

I have been enjoying my favorite pizza and sandwiches at this restaurant for the past 40 years. It has become an icon in the greater Portland area. Thank you for all the great meals over the years!

This is no secret - the pizza at this restaurant is out of this world! You definitely get what you pay for, but the price of these pies is astronomical!

The pizza is tasty, but I'm sorry, I just can't justify paying $51.50 for a 20 pepperoni chocolate.

Starting with the pleasant gal who answered the phone, the entire ordering process went smoothly. The delivery arrived promptly, with a friendly and smiling driver. The pizza itself was cooked perfectly, with a nice crust and a good ratio of sauce to cheese. I ordered a 16-inch pizza half cheese, half onion, and was pleased with the generous amount of fresh onions on the onion half. The only downside was the high price of $38 for one pizza, which may deter me from ordering again. Overall, while the cost was a concern, the quality of the pizza was delicious.

I would give them 10 stars if I could! Portland/South Portland is the best! Their sandwiches are awesome! I have been going there for 35 years and the quality is always top-notch. You haven't truly lived until you've tried a sandwich from this pizza joint. Simply amazing!
