While the restaurant did not offer any vegan sandwich choices, they did have a selection of 4 Tofutti cream cheese flavors, including olive, vegetable, plain, and cinnamon raisin. They also had hummus, peanut butter, guacamole, and jelly as options to add to their bagels. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mister Bagel:
I found the bagels to be average, but the vegan tofu-based cream cheese was delicious. The staff appeared irritated when we requested vegan options, but at least they were available. View all feedback.
We enjoyed the 4 different types of cream cheese. The owner/manager also told me about a veggie burger they have made by Blue Mango from Portland Maine. Contains onions, black beans, panko breadcrumbs, spinach, rice, spices, and olive oil. Vegan and soy-free, but does contain wheat.
From a nyc bagel snob these are the best bagels. everything else in the city is like eating a rock. really good tofu cream cheese.
I thought the bagels and tofu cream cheeses tasted great but customer service left something to be desired. They were not too friendly.
I had a sesame seed bagel with the tofu cream cheese and it was amazing! The staff was knowledgeable on what was vegan and what was not. Super tasty ????
This place is great there are 1-2 things on the menu marked vegan and they also have a tofu veggie cream cheese. The owner is almost always there on a weekday morning and the staff is so nice.
