What Carol Macedo likes about David's 388:
Definitely worth any price!. Sit at the chef's table (counter). Its a fabulous experience. You wont go wrong ordering any entree. This is a real jewell dont compare it to the Downtown location! View all feedback. What Art McGlynn doesn't like about David's 388:
Attentive service, food and drinks came out quickly, but the quality of food was very average for the price. The table was crammed into a corner, not much space to sit comfortably. With all of the other options around Portland, probably wouldn’t go back. View all feedback.

read moreDavid's 388 in South Portland offers a cozy, warm environment with attentive staff. The food, though average and overpriced according to some, is still satisfying and decadent without being too heavy. The cocktails are fresh and delicious. The small size of the restaurant adds to its cozy charm. While some may find the seating arrangement slightly cramped, the delicious food and excellent service make it a favorite for many. With a diverse menu and welcoming atmosphere, David's 388 is a neighborhood gem worth visiting for a good meal without breaking the bank.
