What Roadlesstraveledguy doesn't like about Chillito Pikin:
I went here on the recommendation of someone at my hotel but this location is definitely closed. I plan to visit their location in in Port Isabel! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
That was great. We didn't know where to get a fast, non-exessive but good fishfield....so I start praying, Lord brings us to the perfect place to eat a delicious fast lunch. God, our Lord Jesus, never fails! We stopped and had blacks, the best in this world. Delicious, hot, fresh and great presentation for just $6.99! We went back the next day before we left the island. Returns and highly recommended
We were there for my mother's funeral first April. Then we went to South Padre Island. She was looking for a good Mexican restaurant and saw the reviews for this place. Just as I like it! Small family business. We weren't disappointed. Your food is great! They come from Veracruz Mexico, so it is not your typical Tex Mex, which is broken into molten Velveeta cheese. So if you like that or if you don't go to Taco Bell... Your food is the takeover of Tex Mex, and they nailed it! I recommend this place to everyone. In fact, I contacted our high school chairmen and told her about this place as a possible place for us to eat when we make our 45-year-old reunion on South Padre in October.
The service was great! The owners and staff were friendly and friendly... Mom and Pop style! The environment was relaxed and easy with a Mexican homey theme. Pricing was good! Parts were huge! I expected that from reading the other reviews, but they were much bigger than I expected! And best was the food! Wide range of products to choose and all tasty, tasty, and authentic! It will definitely find our way when we get to the island!
One of the best authentic Mexican foods I've had for a long time. Chicken Casadias were wonderfully filled with Avacado and immersed in their Jalepeno hot sauce. I'll go back. Very recommended.
This is rapidly turning into this vegetarian's favorite lunch spot. They make these grilled veggie tacos, flautas, empanadas and chalupas that are just outstanding I always end up eating more than I meant to because they are so darn tasty. Highly recommend!
