a very short break in henley for reasons of work and we ate here both nights. charming little pub, friendly staff and large portions of wonderful eating softly peeled crawl, muddles and bubbling, all beautiful. View all feedback.
What Steve Holliday doesn't like about The Three Tuns:
We must have visited on a bad day! The service was very slow, the plates were cold, and the food was poor. We won't be returning. The price per person was £80-90. Food quality rated 1 out of 5, service rated 1 out of 5, and atmosphere rated 2 out of 5. View all feedback.
For our high-time anniversary, because we love portugal and people. fantastic food service, we would highly recommend it. we'll be back.
Really nice and fresh seafood we had the cataplana for 2 and it looks as good as it tastes. The service was also really good, as we originally wanted to sit outside but a swam of flies kept trying to land on the food so we went back inside. Waiter happily helped us move back inside. All in all good food and good service. Would definately go back.
I'm glad I went for fish because the fried anchovies were just sublime. I wanted the monkfish medallions as main but it wasn't available so the waiter recommended me the closest alternative. The fish and the prawns were delicious. My friend had the peri peri chicken, but it was a bit too dry. Reasonable prices. I'll be back!
Searching for places to eat in Henley we came across The Square. Finding a portuguese restaurant in Henley was for some reason, a surprise but we thought we would give it a try. The dishes we ordered were fantastic! The staff were attentive and we plan to go back again.
The traditional Portuguese cuisine at this restaurant is excellent. It's the best I've had in the area.
