What H2761DWstevenm doesn't like about The Fleur De Lys:
I stopped by for a quick drink at this restaurant and was impressed by its beautiful exterior, fitting in perfectly with the sleepy historic village it is located in. The service from the young lady behind the bar was friendly. However, once inside, I was disappointed by the overly modern decor, with a poor attempt at a period look including 'distressed' wooden tables and chairs. The cask ale selection was half-heart... We visited this pub on a walk and we had a great time. It has a massive garden and two cask beers. My partner very much appreciated the female hygiene product in the bathroom. Would recommend for a visit! View all feedback.

This is the top spot for beer in Dorchester! It's disappointing that they don't serve sandwiches for lunch, but they do have pizza available on the menu!

Some visitors lament the lack of food service on weekdays and the disappointing beverage markups. Overall, while the venue holds potential, many urge the owners to reevaluate pricing and consistency to enhance the dining experience.

Good steak, nice cider, OK service, and an open fire. Good pleasure!
Very good steak and beer!
