A fantastic evening spent at the Cherry Tree Inn. Exceptional, highly-accommodating staff, delicious burger and sticky toffee pudding, and lovely range of ales and lagers. Would very happily return to gorgeous pub. Service: 5 Location: 5 View all feedback.
What nmm428 doesn't like about Cherry Tree Inn:
I really wanted to like this pub and met friends here before Christmas. I’m reticent to post negative reviews but feel our experience could have been avoided if people had just cared a little more. We had 4 mains for dinner. 2 were literally inedible fish dishes. The other 2 were fine. In the future please serve better quality fish. The hake pieces we had were from the tail end and both diners literally ‘gave up’ aft... View all feedback.
That's not a fast food. that is slow, worthy eating served by cheerful people. the waiting staff is charming and knows how to deal with credit cards that need signatures. the broth are beautiful. the smoked salmon is not too salty and nested with capern on the plate. the salad greens were picked only a few moments from the garden before they appeared on the table. every wild mushroom was perfect. try the next time in the neighbourhood of stoke row.
Truly welcoming facility with excellent dining and service. there were 6 and s baby. probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. with a choice of two real ales to finish the visit. highly recommended
Sunday and night in the cherry tree inn, what can I say differently than what and absolutely unexpected tasty. large selection of beer and weeping that are safe. eating was absolutely fantastic from what I think was a new menu. dan and cheryl was very welcoming and friendly during my short impromptu stay. the rooms are very nice clean modern rooms. they are a super comedy. I was late to get to work this morning. the breakfast was once again a very nice full English cooked to order in the house chef. the pub and the opposite are just incredible. perhaps one of the most beautiful parts of the uk I had to visit this! thank you.
Just back from a lovely overnight stay here. Food is AMAZING. Can't fault it. The eggs Benedict for breakfast was superb. Met the new owner who has some exciting plans to improve the place even more. Good luck with it all and hope to visit again one day.
Fantastic proper old English pub. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating. Well worth a visit
