Starbucks is always at the bottom of my list for coffee. Even the original cafe in Seattle. It was our only choice en route to Larbert. Macchiato, my usual choice, was not on the menu but with a little guidance the barista produced a very acceptable macchiato. For our light lunch we opted for a toasted sausage bap excellent. So, a real surprise.Hayling Seagoon View all feedback.
What Thowdmon doesn't like about Welcome Break Abington:
The next morning, we went to The Good Breakfast Company for breakfast. I opted for the smaller traditional breakfast instead of the £9 one, as I don't like bacon. The staff kindly swapped the bacon for a sausage, which was delicious. The eggs were cooked in front of me, which I appreciated. There is plenty of parking on site, however there are only a limited number of retailers inside these services and a hotel on site.
One of the places I always stop when going to Glasgow. Facilities are always clean and there is a good variety of food available
I was fined £100 for overstaying my 'welcome '. I, my extended family and colleagues will no longer be using Welcome Break after many years of giving them business. Stopped to stretch my legs, get fresh air. Had a coffee and cake, did some work etc. Wasn 't aware of any parking charges. The parking policy is NOT clear.
Nice atmosphere. Good service. Good coffee. Very clean and tables are pleasant. Didn't try the food.
Avoid where possible. Ordered Bacon n cheese chicken royal only to get patty n bun with some lettuce
