Fans of seafood and meat pies will enjoy the pork schnitzel and seafood pie. The restaurant's decor and service receive praise, but some reviewers note lacking atmosphere and inconsistent food quality. While some diners encountered issues with their meals, others found the experience delightful. The staff is friendly and efficient, providing a welcoming environment. Overall, The Barony is a hidden gem with a variety of dishes to suit different tastes and preferences. Whether stopping off the M6 or returning for another visit, guests can expect both highs and lows in their dining experience.
Every course was superb, terrific service would definitely recommend
A big thank you to all the staff at the Barony who went out of their way to make our family dinner for 16 so special. The food was delicious and service was excellent.
The Barony in Biggar Had a wonderful 2 course lunch with a nice wee glass of chardonnay . Food was excellent (supplied with lovely baskets of bread), and washed down with a nice glass of chardonnay. Service was great too . Thoroughly recommended
Booked a table here for the first time and wasn’t disappointed. Main course was beautifully prepared and fish was cooked to perfection as was my partners steak. Only downsides were the chairs were a bit worn out and therefore not very comfortable and the vegetables were a bit overcooked. Apart from that we rated the restaurant as a seven and eight out of ten respectively which means we would both go again! Thank you for the great service and warm welcome. Well done The Barony!
Excellent restaurant, delicious menu, brilliant for the price
