What Fiona O likes about The Big Red Barn Company:
As a returning customer we love the Big Red Barn, their food is always first class and delicious and the staff are always friendly and happy to please. It is clean and welcoming and there is a good variety of food on offer, personally our favourites are the soup, and all the baking especially the scones and fruit slices. Enjoyed browsing the unique Scottish gifts on sale also. It’s so relaxing to wander in the ground... View all feedback. What Gabrizio doesn't like about The Big Red Barn Company:
About as dog friendly as a Siamese cat Popped in as we needed a quick stop and a mention on Google said it was Very dog friendly. Apparently not so as we were not allowed in the cafe and were told we could sit outside. This was on a day that there was a yellow alert for the area regarding weather. Lots of dog walks, but nowhere to eat A bit pointless. I'll walk the dog elsewhere. View all feedback.

read moreThe Big Red Barn is a charming and unique cafe with a wide variety of delicious food options. The staff is friendly and accommodating, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu, although small, offers tasty and well-presented dishes, along with a good selection of teas and home baking. While some may find the prices a bit high, the quality of the food and service makes it worth the visit. The cafe's beautiful garden area and unique Scottish gifts for sale add to the overall experience. A must-visit stop between Edinburgh and Biggar for a truly delightful dining experience.
