Just visited for a coffee and ended up with a group of 5 people crushed next to our table. Felt really uncomfortable so had to finish and leave. Too many tables, too close together with no dividers, it’s operating as if there is no pandemic. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in Strathaven, this tea room offers a contrasting dining experience marked by cozy charm and service inconsistencies. While some patrons relish the homemade soups, delectable afternoon teas, and accommodating staff, others cite discomfort from cramped seating and long waits. The presence of a restaurant cat and a lack of attention to hygiene, particularly regarding food quality, have raised concerns. On a brighter note, some diners appreciate the friendly service and reasonable prices. With a mix of delightful and disappointing experiences, the tea room certainly leaves a lasting impression, but may require refinement to fully satisfy all visitors.
Food was over cooked and cold as was the tea/latte and slow service not a smile from any of the staff
