I drove all the way from Skye and arrived just after closing time at Laila. Despite this, the staff kindly made me a tea before I continued on my journey to Manchester. I am so grateful for their hospitality and assistance in helping me get home. It was a pleasure to be taken care of by Laila at this point in my travels as an international visitor.

While not my top choice for a motorway service station, sometimes you just need to make a stop. This particular station is on the smaller side and is missing many amenities found in larger stations. During my visit, the toilets were dirty with broken seats and in an unpleasant state. Additionally, the men's toilet lacked a sign. These facilities are important for a reason, but this station does not feel welcoming and does not encourage guests to stay. With some cleaning and improvements, I believe the overall experience could be greatly improved.

This morning I was served by Kerry at Bothwell services, and she greeted me with a cheerful and friendly smile. Kerry is polite, approachable, and loves engaging in conversation, which brightened up my day. As someone who values good customer service, I must say that Costa is fortunate to have a wonderful employee like Kerry on their team. Keep up the great coffee-making, Kerry! Thank you, Christine.

Absolutely amazing Costa! You don’t normally see reviews hyping up costa motorway services, or motorway services at all for that matter. But the service was great, staff were friendly, even brought us our food, felt like a cozy restaurant!
