Hot chocolate was amazing, soy milk available as well which I a plus for me. I had the sticky toffee pudding, my friend had the brownie sandwich and both were amazing. Definitely worth a visit if in the area! View all feedback.
What Carmen Ward doesn't like about Choco-lori:
I have stopped for a coffee snack many times in the past and found it a lovely place to be. However, on the first visit since lockdown eased, I found the cafe layout has been changed and there is a lot less room ..tables are very close together, leaving little space to move not a lot of privacy. Also, they welcome dogs, which given there is not a lot of room for humans does not bode well (and why do cafes assume ever... View all feedback.
Come for the chocolate, stay for the fondue! They make a few fine chocolates in Choco-Lori. not only the usual truffles and chocolate creams. aircraft, trains, cars, dogs, cats, Christmas trees. they make many dinge. canned fruits, marchmallows, brazilnüsse. I could go on. more important is the caffe in the back. they make a great hot chocolate. order one of them in a taste of their choice and order a chocolate fondue while they are on it and they cannot go wrong, especially on a cold day. I'll add that. the people who work there are not the most chipper. Maybe they were too much chocolate to find more joy in it. Do not let them stop visiting them when they are in Grange-Over-Sands and they like their chocolate.
The chocolate night tea at this restaurant is absolutely stunning! A chocoholic's dream come true, but also balanced enough for everyone to enjoy. The brioche sandwich was incredibly tasty, just like everything else we tried. Surprisingly, the tea was the standout star of the meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.
Chocolate afternoon tea for two is a must! a Chocoholiker dream! I would say an ideal place for children birthday parties or bachelor parties. Thank you!
Sat in the cafe and was rely happy with the food we were served with. Banoffee waffles to die for and the kids enjoyed the fondue sharer. If you are passing through to get to the Lakes I highly recommend paying them a visit.
Fantastic place! The cafe was delightful and the chocolate desserts were out of this world! Very rich and beautifully made chocolate. The shop has some lovely home made truffles which should definitely be tried; all sorts of flavours to suit different tastes. Highly recommend!
