Nikki's Chaat Cafe - South Lake Tahoe

I love this place! the service was great and the food was delicious!

We came on a Saturday after walking near the lake tahoe. they had buffet at the time. When I asked a worker about vegan options, he went through each of the dishes that were vegan, and confirmed with the cook for a few he was not safe. really appreciate his attention! most options were quite delicious, especially the samosas! her crust was tasty, not too hard, and the fillings were quite tasteful. Since it was buffet style, I got about 5 of them. there was only a court, roasted oma that seemed overdue. when our meal was almost finished, the chef came out to talk to us personally and get our feedback to eat. it leads the restaurant with its man who is one of the waiting staff. we had a great talk and I was glad I could tell her about the okra. overall such a beautiful experience, and I would like to pass when near tahoe again!

The buffet looked good, but I really wanted gobi manchurian so we just ordered from the menu. the service was attentive, eating was really delicious. we will return.

The restaurant offers clearly indicated vegan choices, and can also modify some vegetarian dishes to be fully vegan. The dishes are packed with flavor, although they are quite spicy. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
